About the Role
We are dedicated to providing the utmost level of service to our disabled clients, ensuring that they receive the exceptional care they deserve. Recognizing that each client has a distinct story and specific needs, we approach every interaction with meticulous care and attention, starting from the initial phone call until the completion of their case. As an Intake Representative, you will play a crucial role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective clients from the very beginning. It is paramount to approach communications with empathy, while efficiently managing new leads, incoming calls, and scheduled appointments. Meticulous attention to detail is essential to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of client claims, from start to finish. Active listening is critical in order to identify all potential claims and determine the appropriate course of action, whether it involves initiating a new claim, filing an appeal, or preparing for an upcoming hearing. This position involves extensive communication with clients, thorough review of paperwork with a keen eye for detail, proficiency in computer skills, and effective management of phone calls.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Reviewing incoming paperwork from various sources and organizing it in the appropriate software.
Communicating with current clients and government agencies to track and confirm the status of claims.
Collaborating with Case Managers and Attorneys to promptly address any issues identified in client files, ensuring outstanding service.
Managing a high volume of calls, prioritizing schedules to accommodate new callers and appointments, engaging with prospective clients, obtaining and reviewing necessary documents for case acceptance, and working closely with our attorneys and case managers to assist our new clients.
While prior training is not required, experience in handling medical, insurance or disability claims is highly valued.
